I'm back for a minute.

The Letterman Show was cool. Actually, it was cold. The rumors are true, Dave does keep the studio at sub-arctic temperatures. I had my sweater on right up until we went on.

I just happened to catch Walter & Donald on World Beat [on CNN]. They are definitely too much.

A lot of friends and relatives have been calling about the CD, PBS, Letterman, and the tour. Everyone has been so positive. I've also been hearing from "new friends" via E-mail. It's very flattering to hear people like what you're doing.

The CD, Walter and Donald, the tour---it's all been such a blessing. To top it off, I recently auditioned for and was accepted into my church choir. They said I was borderline but if I was good enough for Steely Dan... Seriously though, singing in Church when I'm at home brings me much joy and peace of mind.

I just finished filming another episode of Ally McBeal. During the taping, I had the pleasure of meeting the ultimate singer---Jennifer Holiday! She was so genuine and down to earth and gracious enough to share a few of her vocal secrets [how cool is that??].
